Recovery Haven Kerry is a volunteer-led charity, founded by volunteers, with a core team of 60 men and women contributing a phenomenal 4,076 hours of support alone in 2023
It is not an exaggeration to say that Recovery Haven Kerry simply could not continue to deliver its services without this incredible support – from our Board of Directors who oversee the strategic direction and financial effectiveness of the charity, to our volunteer listeners, complementary therapists, gardening group and dedicated fundraising and events committee members.
In 2023, we recruited and trained 14 new volunteer listeners to our charity.
As we continue to mark #NationalVolunteerWeek, the directors wish to express their appreciation to all our volunteers who freely give of their time to the charity. Their ongoing contribution is a cornerstone of the success of the charity.
