Recovery Haven Kerry are thrilled to be a main beneficiary of the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2025 and Registration is now open!

We are honoured and excited to have been selected from the incredible number of deserving charities who applied for Tier 1 Status and we are committed to working extremely hard to make this year’s event yet another amazing success for all involved.
What this means for us?
Being a main beneficiary of the 2025 ROKCC will mean that Recovery Haven Kerry will be able to fund the expansion of its outreach service to increase awareness of and access to our services across the county. We currently have a limited community- based outreach service in Killorglin twice per month and we see the need to increase this.
Our proposed outreach service could facilitate the development of support groups for women and men in their local area that could have access to presentations by healthcare professionals, facilitated group discussions, and workshops on topics of interest to them to assist them to manage their condition and improve their quality of life. As more people are living with and beyond cancer, they deserve access to supports and services to help them to be the best version of themselves while living with the challenges and changes that a diagnosis of cancer has brought to their lives.
With one in two people expected to get a diagnosis of cancer in their lives, we wish to ensure that those who might require our services are aware of them and can access them either in person or via remote access. This will be made possible with funding from the 2025 ROKCC.

As is the case for all charities involved, the more cyclists we can recruit to this year’s cycle, the more funding we will receive. With that in mind, we are humbly asking if you, your friends, family, colleagues or teammates would consider signing up to the 2025 cycle and help us reach and support even more cancer patients and their families right across the county.

At Recovery Haven Kerry, Cancer Support House, we rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising to continue offering our support services free of charge to cancer patients and their loved ones.

Your donation will help them through their cancer journey, by providing information, counselling and wellbeing services or support managing thoughts and emotions. We can only continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need it with your help.

A monthly recurring donation provides us with a consistent and reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead while ensuring our support and services for cancer patients and their loved ones can remain free of charge.
