  7. Recovery Haven Kerry was...

Recovery Haven Kerry was honoured to have been invited to host the Vicky Phelan Campaign and Portrait Tour on April 21st & 22nd.

The theme of the tour was creating ” Awareness & Change” which is the essence of Vicky’s legacy and what she fought so hard for.
As part of the weekend’s programme, the stunning portrait was open for public viewing at the Sólás Centre, MTU Kerry North Campus, Tralee on Saturday, April 22 from 10.30 am -1pm.
David Brennan, lifetime friend of Vicky, was present to unveil the portrait at 11am sharp, followed by public viewing until 1pm.
Painted by artist Vincent Devine, the vision for the portrait is to continue Vicky’s legacy and educate people about cervical cancer. This is the first time the portrait has been exhibited in Kerry and has been very kindly supported by MTU Kerry and Tralee Chamber Alliance.

Every donation makes a difference

At Recovery Haven Kerry, Cancer Support House, we rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising to continue offering our support services free of charge to cancer patients and their loved ones.

Your donation will help them through their cancer journey, by providing information, counselling and wellbeing services or support managing thoughts and emotions. We can only continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need it with your help.

A monthly recurring donation provides us with a consistent and reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead while ensuring our support and services for cancer patients and their loved ones can remain free of charge.
