RECOVERY HAVEN POT €8,500 FOLLOWING SNOOKER EXHIBITION
SNOOKER legends, Ken Doherty and Jimmy White were part of a very special New Year’s reunion in Killarney in January when they took part in a charity exhibition match in aid of Recovery Haven Kerry Cancer Support House.
The renowned snooker legends appeared at Killarney’s Eviston House Hotel on Monday, January 2nd for this very special event, organised by local man Connie O’Sullivan and hotel owner Patrick Eviston. Patrick wanted to host the event in memory of his late wife Linda, who received valuable support form Recovery Haven prior to her death.
The event also marks the 25th anniversary of Ken Doherty’s World Championship win, with the Dubliner brought along his coveted trophy on the night.
As well as the match itself, there was also a raffle on the night in aid of Recovery Haven Kerry which featured a host of keenly sought-after items, including a signed cue from each player, as well as a cue signed by the late, great, Alex Higgins.
Patrick has collected over €90,000 to date for various cancer charities in memory of his wife Linda.

Every donation makes a difference

At Recovery Haven Kerry, Cancer Support House, we rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising to continue offering our support services free of charge to cancer patients and their loved ones.

Your donation will help them through their cancer journey, by providing information, counselling and wellbeing services or support managing thoughts and emotions. We can only continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need it with your help.

A monthly recurring donation provides us with a consistent and reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead while ensuring our support and services for cancer patients and their loved ones can remain free of charge.
