Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy Talk at Recovery Haven

We were delighted to have Sandra Murphy – ANP, University Hospital Kerry; Michaela Brosnan – A-CNS, University Hospital Kerry and Caitríona Ní Muiris – Oncology Nurse to join our own Client Services Co-ordinator, Siobhan MacSweeney, for a hugely informative talk for those dealing with Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy.
Over 40 people atended the free workshop, where our expert guests provided vital information, advice and support in dealing with CIPN – a condition whereby nerve damage from chemotherapy causes tingling, numbness, burning and weakness, usually in the hands and feet.
A huge thanks to Siobhan and our guests and to those who attended what was a really informative and well received workshop

Every donation makes a difference

At Recovery Haven Kerry, Cancer Support House, we rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising to continue offering our support services free of charge to cancer patients and their loved ones.

Your donation will help them through their cancer journey, by providing information, counselling and wellbeing services or support managing thoughts and emotions. We can only continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need it with your help.

A monthly recurring donation provides us with a consistent and reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead while ensuring our support and services for cancer patients and their loved ones can remain free of charge.
